QuickBooks Online Bookkeeper: Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3+ years of
  • Bookkeeper or Accountant experience, preferably at a CPA or financial advisory firm
  • Experience in QuickBooks Online is essential
  • Strong understanding of US accounting principles and regulations
  • Available and responsive during Eastern business hours (8:30 AM–5:30 PM EST)

    What the role entails

  • Accurately record financial transactions into QuickBooks Online
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
  • Perform regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy and catch discrepancies
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Generate and analyze financial reports using QuickBooks Online
  • Provide regular financial reports to management
  • Conduct periodic financial analysis to identify trends and recommend improvements
  • Work across teams to keep financial information accurate and relevant
  • Assist in preparing documentation for tax filings
  • Support the team on ad-hoc projects and tasks
